Botanika @ Laika, Thursday 25.3.10

Laika is probably one of the best spots in Tel Aviv nowadays for electronic dance music fans, and all the credit goes to Avihay Partok for making it happen and creating this place in his spirit. The 2 floor bar with a dancefloor to boot, has already become home to such welcome local nights such as the monthly house/techno Friday run by our  friends Idit Frenkel & Niv Hadas of the Tapu”d blog;  the deep space & bass explorations of Clouds, a Wednesday monthly by DJs Walter & Nasty Habit; DJ Klachick’s Sovietilicious Sundays; or No Moon’s Thursday nights, which host a variety of DJs on a high spirited musical combination ranging from funk & disco to house & techno.

Us Botanikats are happy to have our first mutual DJ slot there, as part of the crazy Thursdays line up, hosted by the talented No_Moon posse. Things kick off with the No_Moon girls as early as 22:30, and at some point later, Egozy and NDV will take over the decks with a (most probably) 4X4 oriented set – playing a clubby soundtrack to welcome the weekend.

Entrance is free of charge, and bar prices are extra low until 23:00, so do your math – come early
