All freshly produced music made by Israeli producers, living in Israel or elsewhere, most of it officially released, and from the past year or so. As I tried to jam the most I could manage into the one-hour show, the longer house/techno tracks on the second half of it might have not received the larger breathing space they require, but I hope it still works as a nice demo of the variety of stuff being made at the moment which I dig.

And sticking to the Israeli produced theme – artwork this time by the amazing Pilpeled, one of our favorite local artists/designers, who does everything from tees & ashtrays via book covers, cd’s, party posters and up to huge wall pieces, which are my personal favorites of his, and are best experienced when seen in their real size awesomeness. Sabbo presents Freaktion

Our man Sabbo, who’s been busier & busier touring & producing since his debut solo release on Botanika in 2009, has just released the juke/footwork inspired “Freaktion EP”, via Generation Bass. Getting serious props from Sinden, Diplo, Munchi, and even Chicago’s own DJ Rashad, saying “This man does footwork better than most producers in Chicago!”, it’s 4 tracks of straight-up uptempo frenzy business from the man.
